  • Wish the weekend could last a little longer?
You’d be amazed at the lengths to which people will go to scam an extra few days off work, whether it’s feigning sickness or making up an urgent personal or family issue.
Scott Bennett’s case offers an extreme example.
Mr. Bennett, 45, allegedly submitted the death notice of his living mother to Pennsylvania’s Jeffersonian Democrat newspaper, in an apparent attempt to get paid bereavement leave from his job, the Associated Press reports.

WTF?? How can someone live for 45 years and still be this stupid?

He must walk very very carefully and not be around power tools, sharp objects - that includes people with the IQ of a Plant - And Gods grace.

You'll have to ask Bear.
Well, I wasn't going to, but since you gave me permission.

Gh found a really good woman to look out for him.

I heard she was even able to remove the child safe outlet covers recently.

Gh has made tremendous headway apparently. Even though he wasn't able to just post this info himself.

Give him time, he'll catch up...;-)

Before reading the link I thought he must have been a postie. We got damn creative during -35 .

Which might explain the absence of cumulative sick leave.

We had one resident here whose aged mother passed and he kept her in the Freezer. He did it for five years and then someone caught on that he was always coming to the Bank to Cash her Social Security check alone. Not a bad haul for five years! He got seven in the slammer plus the house was seized to repay SS.
