Supreme Court supports Internet links because linking is not content just a link to another article and does not infringe in copyright laws

If this case went through the Internet content would be a lot smaller.

But still I am happy of the outcome because without any linking most people would not have informative web sites.

I bet the publishers are happy too because linking brings more consumers to their web sites.

Linking also condenses the article where a person could click the link to get a more in-depth information on the other web sites.

It was the only sensible choice. You can't hold a person accountable for what somebody else writes, especially when it can change without your knowledge after you've linked to it.

I just hope this will not be appealed; the Internet still has a long way to evolve and as I can see linking is one of the stones in the foundation

That was a Supreme Court decision, there's nobody to appeal it to.
