Now that Libyans have overthrown and killed their dictator (with extensive help from NATO), they are no longer united by fear. I hope they can get their act together.
BTW, this civil war should be a model for all future NATO interventions. Compared to the cost of the Iraq war fiasco, getting rid of Ghadaffi was a real bargain. (financial/political)
1) The intervention must have popular support of the people.
2) No official deployment of soldiers on the ground. (supporting covert operations only)
3) Overwhelming firepower from the air directed by the rebels on the ground
4) Early official recognition of the rebels as the legitimate government.
