Wow, that was very fast. Well kudos to Jack for taking his party to official opposition status. May his family use the good times to charter the difficult times ahead.
Jack Layton's politics and tactics have enraged me at times, but strangely, I am actually quite saddened by this news.

He looked like he was near the end when he announced this cancer. It doesn't surprise me that he went this fast, but it's sad to hear about his passing.
