Do you really think the re-location class of immigrants would be lessened with Latino families? If anything, we should be cutting mexico off if we want "Canadian jobs"
According to this table from from StatsCan, Mexico is not even on the list of top ten foreign born peoples in Canada. Asia is the big source, not Latin America or Mexico.

Good tables on this web page discussing how immigrants unemployment levels are worse than the Canadian born average, and their average incomes have declined from 1980-2000. Some groups do well, as one would statistically expect, but overall, a drop.
