Yeah, as you can see I follow the rock scene more-so then the pop stuff, and most of the bands/artists listed above come from my neck of the woods in Canada (Nova Scotia)

But there ya go.

Hallo friend;

here is a nice one for starters and one of my favorites....

You just flew up my scale Loonie...excellent post.

That list up there, was pop tripe. Easily reproduced any where and by anybody.

Stompin' Tom, is unique, as is a great many unsung hero's of Canadian music.

Or any of the excellent Native Artists, who's music is only popular here and not truly internationally recognisable.

Tastey little buggers ain't they.
Yes they are, but we don't eat them here. They're so scarce, that we always put them back. Me, I'm a hard luck case with the illusive little buggers, my oldest though, is charmed. He can pull them out on every drift.

Wifey just started listening to Feist today. I like it. But then I like almost anything. From Alanis to Wide Mouth Mason, from Barnes to Weinzweig, G. Lightfoot, M. McLauchlan, O. Petersen, Edmonton's Drowning Ophelia, Nelly Furtado, Diana Krall, The Guess Who, Ian Tyson, Stompin Tom, etc.
