'Gossip Girl' and 'Ugly Betty' actress Lisa Lynn Masters found dead in Peru

Actress Lisa Lynn Masters has been found dead from an apparent suicide in her hotel room in Peru.
The body of the 52-year-old, who featured in TV hits Gossip Girl and Ugly Betty, was found in the closet of her suite at the Nuevo Mundo hotel in Lima late on Tuesday.
Authorities believe she had been struggling with depression and hanged herself with a skirt. According to Noticias del Perú y del Mundo | Peru21, anti-depressant medication was found in her room, along with two letters detailing her mental health struggles.
Masters, who lived in Brooklyn, New York with her husband, was in Lima for a modelling gig.
She had also previously appeared on TV comedy Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt and crime drama Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.
