Terrorists force Michael Caine into name change

Actor Michael Caine has been forced to change his official name due to heightened security measures designed to catch terrorists.
The Italian Job star is known professionally as Michael Caine, but until recently had kept the moniker he was born with, Maurice Micklewhite, as his official name on his passport.
But the British actor has become fed up of waiting in line at airports while confused staff check why the name on official documentation doesn't match his famous name, so has changed it by deed poll.
Explaining why opted for the legal name change, the 83-year-old cites increased security measures designed to prevent acts of terror by groups such as the so-called Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS).
"I changed my name when all the stuff started with ISIS and all that," Michael told British newspaper The Sun.
Speaking about his experience with security staff at airports, he added, "He (a security official) would say, 'Hi Michael Caine,' and suddenly I'd be giving him a passport with a different name on it.I could stand there for an hour. So I changed my name."
The actor has previously admitted to being freaked out by the 9/11 terrorist attacks, as the method Al-Qaeda terrorists used to destroy the World Trade Centre in New York City in 2001 bore a startling resemblance to the narrative of a novel he was writing.
"I had this plot where terrorists fly a plane into a London skyscraper," he told BBC Radio 4 host Mark Lawson. "Then they did it in real life. I was stunned by that, so I stopped writing."
