rogers digital transport adapter

does it have a separate volume control? eg. dvd players have a separate volume control.

does it output stereo sound or does it output double mono sound? (mono sound though 2 speakers, I mean.)

are there any digital transport adapters that have a greater channel capacity then the ones rogers provides?
