How to repeat songs or playlists: When playing a song in the iPod click on the the album art one time while holding the iPhone vertically (yes it has to be vertically). A timeline will appear at the top. Click on the to the left to repeat a playlist. Click the icon a second time and a "1" will appear meaning it'll repeat a single song. You can now use the timeline to move to different points in the song instead of holding the back and forward buttons on the bottom.
How to reboot your iPhone: When you hold the home screen and sleep button together for 12 seconds, your iphone can do a reboot
How to save batteries in the middle of a game or an application: when playing games like super monkey ball, or bomberman, or any other app, and you don't want to end the game, but you dont want to leave it on to kill ur battery? just press the sleep button. Once you slide back in, the screen will be on your app. and you won't lose the last level or IM you were on.
Keyboard Tips:
- When using the keyboard in QWERTY and want to easily enter a .?123 just press and hold the .?123, drag to the character and let go. This also brings you right back to the QWERTY keyboard.
- Same as above works with the shift button and QWERTY. Press and hold shift as you drag to a letter, this capitalizes each letter selected. (Dragging and releasing makes typing so much easier for my fat fingers)
- Press and holding a letter on the keyboard allows for the selection of its character accents i.e. press and hold the c button
