Need help with Nokia 5200

I purchased a Nokia 5200 cellphone which was supposed to be unlocked and usable on the Rogers network. It came in a Fido box. The seller suggested I come here for help with rogers wap settings(I don't even know what that means) Any help would be appreciated.

It seems to me though that if Rogers wants your money, they ought to be able to change the phone over for you, no?
