Google now allows you to have a GMAIL app (not just the web version) on your phone, as well as Google maps etc. You have to download them from the web, which of course with Telus gives your error 403 (forbidden).

How do we get around this? Typically, I transfer videos etc to the phone via USB cable... but since you can't download the google apps from the computer and then transfer them I can't know if that will work.

What do you have to unlock on the Telus Razr to allow it to download? Or is it not possible?
