Hey there.

I just picked up a Motorola L2 on Rogers' "Couples' Plan", and I've been playing around with it for a few days now.

One thing I can't seem to figure out is if it's possible to remove or change the big "ROGERS" at the top of the main screen.

Even if not able to be done through the phone's interface, is there some way to do it by way of the phone's PC software?

Thanks for any and all help.

Steve

I don't know if it's possible. Once when I called them with some problems they fixed it, but "rogers" text was placed little to the right. I guess they can do something.

it has to hack the hex code.

it is not easy to do for newbies, so i don't know how you consider yourself on mobile phones.

if you think you're newbie, don't do it.

It depends on the phone.

I have a Samsung P207, and was able to remove all of the screen text in the Settings -> Wallpaper -> Text Display option in the menu.

For most phones though it is embedded, as Kalok said; if you're a newbie and don't feel up to it, don't bother.
