I purchased the coolest phone yesterday which is probably the most feature-packed thing I've come across for quite a long time. I was looking at a slimmer and smaller model before I got this one, but the difference of price was about 150€ and an extra 768MB wasn't sometime I needed since I already have an mp3 player.

It has a radio function, too. Weird for a cell phone, my friend calls it a Mobile Communication Device. Or MCD.

Anyways, just wanted to post some pics..

you should of wait for the W600i, it's coming to Rogers, and it's a quad-band instead of tri-band.

Ah, it's a quad band. That would explain it.

My w550i is only a tri-band (900,1900,1800) so the extra (I would guess 850) band is a little useless over here. When I get back, though, I'm probably just sticking with Fido anyways. I've had too many issues with Rogers in the past to consider them for their 850 coverage.

Kalok: way too long to wait for a w600i when my current phone's ringer stopped working Plus, I'm not in Canada anymore so ordering a phone from Rogers is out of the question!

Fido does have access to Rogers' 850mhz network within their footprint.

As for Rogers' issues, I can tell you, Rogers has been improved a lot and Fido has decreased a lot. ( According to HoFo members)
