Hello all. Sorry if this has been said before but Bell is driving me crazy. What I am wondering - does anyone know how much they are charging to get out of cell phone contracts. I have 6 months left on my 24 month family plan - they changed the rules for upgrades so now my husband's broken phone cannot be replaced - the CSR's are so ignorant.

I just want to get an idea of what I will be charged before I start yelling at them on the phone again... then I am walking down the mall to Telus who seems to have their heads on a little straighter!

Thanks!

i believe its $20 for each remaining month or 200 whichever is cheaper.

btw telus contract cancellation is 20$ for each remaining month or $100 whichever is more.

So - it turns out that is is $199.00 PER PHONE to get out of the contract - looks like I will be staying with Bell until January 2, 2006 (I am counting the days). Then it is off to Telus!

patience is a virtue easily lost, good luck. Bell is really losing clients every year, 85,000 alone in Q4. They better wise up soon or they're not gonna have anybody.

If ur going with telus i suggest month to month term, Ive heard of ppl having to pay $720 because the rep didnt say that there was no return policy.

The plans/phone selection is very good though

Pricks billed me for 44 minutes of long distance. I did use 44 minutes but my plan says I get 100 minutes long distance free a month. Went down to store to straighten out. Morons.

They seem to screw up at least 3 bills a year. like wtf? Maybe they need to update their computer or something.
