Well people hi there
iam new to this board so please do overlook if i do commit any mistakes
anyway
i have this Samsung R220 this guy is giving me trouble
i bought it only 6 months ago from the black market
the thing whrn th phone is in idle mode its just kicks out the date and all the stuff leaving the networks name and starts giving garblred text like anything
2nd thing sometimes even if iam outside the phone does not connect to any no. i dial
and the same tings when anybody tries to contact me the person at the other end gets an engage tone
please help

Hmm, cooldude22, it sounds like you have a defective phone. I really don't know about the samsung phones, but maybe its in something called "testmode"?
Some phone hackers know how to get in and out of testmode, or you might just have to bring it to be repaired at your provider? I really don't know. Who's your provider?
PS. Try calling samsung also.
