I'd like to have a selfie stick to beat to death any of those numpties who like taking pointless selfies and posting them on Twitter.

They say if you want to know what is really important to a person, just look at what they take the most pictures of.

They say that the current generation of kids will be the most self absorbed and selfish we've had so far (and that's taking into account the 70's!)

well this time they used science rather then philosophy.

and it could be true. Each generation just may well be more self absorbed then previous. I disagree with your translation. The newest generation haven't any energy if obesity rates are any indication.
