the remnants of the latest hurricane blew through here this weekend and left us with 143 mm of rain. Am very glad I live in one of the higher areas of the city as all the usual places were flooded out. our bridges are just fine, but some of the roads suffered some damageand a few of the shopping centers should be holding waterdamage sales This is the highest rainfall in that time period that I can remember for this region.

That's a lot of water we were lucky in NE Nova Scotia, still there was repair work from last week still being completed.

I saw where Pictou County had a few roads washed out . looked pretty bad from the ATV news viewpoint. We did lose a bit of the Southern Railway trackbeds here.

Salmon River was running pretty high here, but didn't break the banks. Didn't pour as bad as they had warned it might here.

I was worried about my leaky roof, but the wind wasn't blowing in that direction[towards the front of my house], and only our basement had some flooding. Just to be safe tho, i called in the roofers & am going to have it done.
