I was disheartened to hear another person say today that they weren't going to vote as " they're all a bunch of crooks". Well, with attitudes like that, many of the old council might get back into office.Me. i'm voting for all new candidates..in the hope that this time we may have a good mayor and city council.

As a senior I have seen many elections come and go but the only thing that changes is the names not the real power----civil servants!

At the municipal level, they seem to be less affected by industrial lobbyists and more by the pressures of family and friends. Still, the money pile is harder to reach. These are the folks who pick up my garbage, maintain my road and stand by to put out my fire. They're the ones with the most direct impact and the lowest voter turnout, Go figure, eh?

Woof!
