You can only trust yourself. Anyone else is only trusting themselves so, you are on your own. The sooner you accept this the happier your life will be as you will always look after yourself. If you can't do that for yourself then how can you expect someone else to do it.

Trust no one. The sweetest person will betray you for their own interests. You must remember that they are not you. Only you actually care about you, in spite of any outward expressions, other people will always default to their needs first. Hell! It's human nature.

So mull that over and remember. Only you are you.

I would trust my younger sister with my life- she is the most compassionate and trustworthy person I know, she has proved it time after time(even though she's a cranky lil b*tch)

I handle things well on my own - but have learned it's okay to ask for help sometimes. I'd trust my youngest daughter ahead of anyone to handle my affairs if I was out of commission.

Funny, when dealing with people I oft use the comment "There are three men I trust sir, two are dead, and you ain't the other one"...

But like most, my wife is my most trust worthy companion. But then there's Dennis Reeves, my lawyer. I trust him a lot. Even though he isn't the other one either, lol.

I would trust my guy to help me in any situation.

Due to some traumatic events this year I have found out much to my joy that there are 3 girlfriends whom I can also trust damn near to the ultimate...... All offered various things to me according to what they could give.

I have always maintained that self reliance was a must. I have been told since I was young that I must allow others to "do for me". I struggle with that.

It is when there is no "choice" on our part that we are really tested to see who we are as people and who we have chosen to surround ourselves with.

I have found being self reliant is not the ultimate strength.... learning to adapt successfully to whatever life puts before us......... THAT is the ultimate strength.
