Pressured for time...?
I bought a one touch pressure cooker on sale at Wally world a few months ago, and say for a jerked chicken, spiced this morning with Jamaican jerk spice, Caribbean spice and roasted garlic, and garlic plus, and put in the pressure cooker tonight;

5 minutes to get up to steam, and then 15 minutes under pressure, and 5 minutes to cool...
and my $6.66 on sale chicken is Jerked.
Spuds/ carrots; 10 minutes, while chicken rests
smash spuds with green onions and sour creem and butter
Sinful.

two suppers and a lunch...
and only one pot to wipe clean.

In about 10 minutes a pint of Keiths and a chicken finger dinner sans poutine. At the old honky-tonk with the gold old boys and girls

some folks might laugh but I genuinely enjoy Spam - too bad it has become so pricey compared to what it used to be but the flavor is awesome (to me)

That plate is almost exactly what I had for supper, last night. The only thing missing is to the Grace hot sauce.

made a rather complex but tasty sea food soup:

mussels
clams
white rice
tomato sauce
seasonings, Italian salad dressing, soy sauce, & lemon juice

topped with spinach (which had been cooked separately) and a large dab of chopped ham

one essential ingredient is the preparation is corn starch to add thickening to the soup

very hearty - look forward to leftovers for tomorrow
