Hi there all,
I'm a 40y/o man living in the Kootenay's in BCs southeast. I'm not only new here but new to discussion forums.
I like to discuss current events and am an avid WW2 history buff.
I also like to talk bagpipes, however not exclusively. I enjoy learning and like to hear others opinions on almost everything, especially if your opinion differs from mine.

I hope you forgive me my directness... it comes with age, and I sometimes do that to Newbies to make them feel relaxed. It doesn't always work, some get scared and disappear!
You seem to be the cautious type.
So, you are the expert on WW2? That is fascinating!!! We have had such discussions on and off, but never seem to put the subject as solved to rest. You, with your expert knowledge, would be a great asset to such discussions. Are you presently already involved in such a thread or would you like to start us off with a new one? I'll join gladly, because I have much to learn still.
Kootenays is a nice place to live. I've been through there just once. Beautiful!
