Hello, my introduction might be lengthy but heck, you're free to not read it.
My username is Milko, but in real life I am Paul. I live in the town called Stoney Creek, ON. I see it as a part of Hamilton. Dirty town still can be quite nice for it's residents.
I am not a natively born Canadian, heck I am not even Canadian yet. I immigrated 3 years ago from unknown republic of Belarus to pursue the happiness in Canada. I do not consider the country I was born in as my native land, because I am of Russian-Polish decent, so the reason why I ended up in Belarus was due to the collapse of Soviet Union. So I came here 16 years of age and I am still very young, trying to get through college years right now. This year I will become Canadian citizen with the sacred ability of vote.
The reason I came here is because I was kicked out from the very conservative American forum I do not want to name.I was looking for more liberally(I use it as a freely) minded forum which accepts differences in opinion. So I am here, I do not know if I will stay here, but sure I'd love to try. My main reason is politics, I am not ashamed to call myself moderate with liberal leaning, but I look towards productive and interesting discussion.

Well hello again, and welcome! You've had an interesting life already for one so young. I wish you much success with your college... as far as what you'll find here, you'll soon see there's folks of all political stripes here... some will agree with you, some will educate you, and some of us will just make you scratch your head.....enjoy!

I am karrie, one of the friendly neighborhood moderators (most days...
). I am a stay at home mom to two kids, and while they are off at school, I take correspondence courses in psychology.
I was born here and have never left Canada in all of my 28 years, so I admire you immigrating. I can't even get out of one country, let alone move to another! lol.
