Hello everyone!
Always looking for new ways to advertise and promote myself and my artwork.
I constantly hunt for directories to list my business and ways of improving search engine results. After searching for Canadian content submission spots, I found this interesting looking site.
Haven't nailed down exactly what goes on here, but I will upload some info, maybe a video or two and take a look around!
Thanks for having me!

Well I figure its just a group of Canadians(? or at least somehow connected to the Canadian content theme?) that yap about anything and everything....LOL

That sounds good to me!
I like to rant about all kinds of things!

Are there any other artists here?
Myself, I am an Airbrusher...based in Southern Ontario.
Please feel free to check out the website

really! it's a message board, not a chat line.

don't expect instantaneous replies. sometimes they can take a day or so with all the other crap that's going on, and a mere 17 replies to 17 different threads when this place is busy and your post gets quickly driven off the 'recent topics of discussion' page so no one notices it.

welcome airdave.

be warned, though, we already have a hairdave, so-called because, poor guy, he lost his limbs to thalidomide and so uses his hairlip to manipulate his cursor for all his paintshop creations, and he doesn't take kindly to competition, but what can he do? heh heh

sorry
been on many many forums and community sites, and have had a number of really bad experiences so I am now very quick to react in a negative way. But in my defense, I do keep trying, and I do keep joining sites and I still enjoy meeting new and interesting people ...

"Hairdave" thats a new one! LOL
I welcome the competition!

thanks everyone

Twila...from Twinksland? thats a little scary. I am in southern Ontario
(about an hour west of TO)

CDNbear...of course Mossy Oak and the like are photo realism images (printed) but, yes, I could paint any kind of camo or a similar camo effect. Just depends on how much its worth to justify the amount of work in the paintjob.

LOL
that would be...about an hour west of TO.
...thats sorta near if you are Living in Thailand (are you living in Thailand?),
but real far away if you lived in Greater Toronto and were real small (like maybe the size of a hamster) and had no hamster car, so you had to scurry on all fours dodging the traffic on the 401!

I have a number of websites I am busy with (and am a member of a few forums) so I haven't had the chance to frequent this site much (yet!)...but I found some time to drop in and look around again, and what I found was this "new look".
I have to say, when I first found this forum, I didn't think it was the best laid out or easiest to navigate forum....but now, its just ridiculous!!
What has happened here?
New arrivals at CanadianContent can click on "forums" only to arrive at a page of oddly numbered thread links(?)...took me awhile before I figured out that these must be recent or "newest" posts.
Very confusing.
At the top of the page, I see "forum home"....ah, that looks good...
nope, same page.
(At this point I am looking for the standard first page of a forum, with the topic and thread areas all presented for me.)
"The Lounge" looks like a discussion area, lets try that...
well this looks a little more like a forum thread area, but not much here and I get the feeling I have ventured too far into an area that I am not interested in?
Finally, I hit "Canadian Cafe" (which did not strike me as the area I was looking for, thats why I avoided that link) and this time I found what looked more like a common forum starting point.

By this time I was very frustrated and gave up on reading any posts.
Maybe its just me, but I like to arrive at a site and know exactly where I am and see a simple menu.
I don't care too much about how many pages I go through, as long as I clearly know where I am going...and this site doesn't do that for me.
Forum sites are pretty well established webpages and have a common look and feel...people are comfortable with that common look and feel.

Please don't take my criticisms the wrong way, the site and content here interest me very much, and it is only for this reason that I am complaining and offering my opinion.
