Hallo, everyone!
My name is dancing-loon and I hope I can keep abreast with you!
My interests are Canadian as well as world politics.
I came to this country from Germany/Sweden eons ago, as it seems! It has become my true and loveable homeland - am very happy to be in this spot on the globe.
I look forward to many interesting and educational discussions with all of you fellow members!

I just answered and thanked you for your great welcomes and encouragements... all for naught, it disappeared. Yahoo or whoever did this to me is getting on my nerves!
Once more the lovely game since we all liked it so much!!! (noch einmal das schoene Spiel, weil es uns so gut gefiel!
) At least I got the smiley business figured out!

I was a little surprised by an earlier thread here at CC that asked for examples of what you like about America.....and no one (that I can recall) mentioned the fact that both America and Canada offer its citizens the right to oppose (peacefully) the status quo, disagree with "government" and allow people to hold opinions that are "contrary" to the long sought-after apathy and complacency of the truly moronic.
I celebrate this freedom and welcome anyone's and everyone's comments, opinions and "input"...
Disagreements are just that, disagreements and the facility we all bring through our ideas and contributions to seeking compromise and resolution to agreements isn't fostered in silence, rather it is celebrated in dialogue and argument....
Please join us in this celebration of freedom.....and once again ...welcome to CC..

Here it is.
Intalling is easy. Right click on the picture above and click 'copy'. Then go to 'control panel at the top of the page. This is where you can change all your personal settings but you can explore that in time. On the left in that screen click 'edit avatar'. In the box that says option 1 get rid of the htttp www letters then press 'control V' on your keyboard. You will then have an avatar.

I just tried as you described it... isn't working =
Upload of file failed.
I deleted the httpwwwetc. then pressed Ctrl and V. Nothing happened. What is supposed to go into that empty space where I just removed the httpwwwletters?
