Just stumbled across the site today and signed up right away. I'm looking forward to learning from and sharing with other members of the CanadianContent community.
I'm a Linux desktop user and advocate and would welcome any questions or ideas anyone would like to share with me. If I can can help you with Linux and open source software alternatives, I will.

Sorry I didn't offer my welcomes earlier on today, Judland. I did read but didn't have the chance to post just then
Now it's 1:20am, I'm wired up like every night and just wanted to say WELCOME ABOARD! Nice, another open-source person I personally use slackware on my laptop and I have a collection of open-source stuff on CDs. I've also been involved in open-source projects in the past.
And yes, I do my monthly scans of Freshmeat and Sourceforge as I have for the past several years

Slackware's a very nice Linux distro. As you can probably tell, I'm a Debian user. Been using Kanotix for the past month and I like it very much. I stared my Linux journeys back in 2002 with Mandrake.
Have you been part of any open souce project I might have heard of or used myself?
