Hey everyone,
My name is Chris Warren, I’m 23 and I live in Ottawa, ON. I work for the Department of National Defence doing computer tech work. I have mild interest in politics, but that interest seems to be growing every passing day. I actually found this website while trying to find some backing information for a post I was making on a different web forum. I took a quick look around and this seems like a really cool place.
I was born in Lahr, Germany originally with a German Mother and Canadian Father (who was in the military at the time). I’ve lived in Fredericton, New Brunswick; Winnipeg, Manitoba; and Kenora, Ontario prior to moving here to Ottawa 8 years ago.
My main hobbies are traveling, working out, movies, spending time with my girlfriend of 4 years, and attempting to play all kinds of guitar solos. Oh, and I’m officially addicted to the music of Matthew Good, Jimi Hendrix + Nirvana, horror movies, the Simpsons, and the Ottawa Senators (stupid lockout).

hello hetrixismyidol, glad to know you have some Germany origin, I am learning Deutsch but find it sooo HARD , Germany is a great country too. I hope to visit there someday.
peapod, are you moderator of this board? I saw lots of your posts here. You are a nice person too.
I hope to know more of your culture through this forum and please feel free to ask me of any questions you have for China and its culture, i would try my best to reply.

I am a German - I live in Paderborn, that's quite in the middle of the country.

Maybe we should just "declare" a German Ecke as the Dutch have a Nederlands hoekje already *hehehe*
