I am originally from Nova Scotia and now live in Victoria B.C. I am Married and work for a telecommunications firm. I ran in the last federal election as a candidate for the Canadian action party. I have served in the Canadian Armed forces for 11 years as infantry and was one of the 1st English platoons on the ground in Quebec during the Oka crisis. Politically I lean toward progressive and libertarian (center left) but believe is strong fiscal responsibilities and balanced budgets go hand in hand as the key to long term growth. I believe in a true north strong, free and independent. I have come to the conclusion that NAFTA, the Free Trade agreement and soon the free trade for the Americas agreement is nothing but a resource grab and will force concessions that will be the undoing of our nation and must be abrogated.

Did Roy Whyte refer you? He's done some excellent articles in the past, I kind of miss getting them more often. I guess he's busy these days.
