Hell we drink bottled water anyway down here, the tap stuff comes out of the Mississippi River which drains 37 States and 3 Provinces!
You could not swim in Lake Ponchartrain even before the storm, why would anyone want to swim in New Orleans NOW?
The main joke making the rounds now is that New Orleans has the fattest crabs around! (NOBODY would eat Lake Ponchartrain Crabs due to pollution before and with Lake Ponchartrain now in New Orleans, the water quality DID NOT IMPROVE ALL THAT MUCH!
The gasoline and oil floating on top of the water in places is disgusting! Drove to Metairie this morning for a quick trip, I will smell you later. Lysol has a ready made market!
