I saw that clip from the 1940 Bob Hope film Ghost Breakers on the Barking Dog site a couple of weeks ago.

For me, the suggestion that this clip where Hope likens Zombies - who "have no will of their own, and are walking around with dead eyes, following orders," to Democrats, is far from funny.

At that time, (1940) the joke was that, in both the House and the Senate a majority of Democrats were following FDR into his third term as president.


Bringing that concept up to date is not funny. It is downright horrifying!
