My Opinion:
Too bad it wasn't 2006, or these FIRST groups would be ready to go. I guess its one of those "Best laid plans" anecdotes. Too bad his words don't reflect the actions of his organization in New Orleans.

Calling Michael D. Brown a horse's ass is an insult to the horses in the Arabian Horse Association, whose records he was unable to properly maintain.

My comment is that when a sane person looks at Brownie's qualifications for a critical emergeny response agency, it seems more than the merely the result of rampant cronyism, but rather that he has been groomed to be a patsy.
