Russian President Vladimir Putin has released his 2017 calendar and it features 12 wonderfully weird photos – one for every month of the year.
BBC's Moscow correspondent Steve Rosenberg got his hands on a copy of the calendar and tweeted out a video of him flipping through its pages – much to the delight of his followers. Some of the top shots include Putin cuddling with a kitten, wearing a wetsuit and climbing a piece of farming equipment while wearing a business suit.
The calendar may be a little unusual, but it's no match for the Russian leader's 2016 calendar which featured the president fishing topless.
There are no shirtless photos of Putin in this year's calendar, but there's always 2018 to look forward to.

But the most popular shots are August, which show Putin ordering the assassination of a journalist, and October, which shows Putin machine-gunning a Crimean kindergarten.
