Authorities in Germany are powerless to halt the asylum claims of tens of thousands of migrants using fake Syrian documents, MailOnline can reveal.

Officials registering applications have been overwhelmed by the 500,000-plus refugees who have streamed into the country since the beginning of the year.

A huge number of claims for asylum that are supported by passports and identity cards that appear to be false, a police forensic expert has revealed.

MailOnline highlighted the roaring trade in false Syrian documents in September.

The exclusive story revealed how a reporter bought a Syrian passport, identity card and driving licence for $2000 under the name of a real man who was killed in Aleppo.

So what's new? Hong Kong officials are known to take bribes to produce fake passsports; but because the fakes are produced by the same people who produce the genuine passports, there is no way to tell them apart.

I'm also aware that mainland Chinese officials take bribes to produce fake birth certificates in the same way too.

And that's just what I know. The CBSA has a reputation for its officers taking bribes from organized crime too, so it's not a stretch to go from that to speculating that Canadian passport officials or Ontario birth certificate registrars might accept bribes too.

No, but some Chinese including Hong Kong residents try to sneak into Canada on false passports to work in the sex trade.

The CBSA has ramped up efforts to identify these women and have them removed on exclusion orders (which exclude them from Canada for a year). Though it is legally supposed to remove them on a balance of probabilities, in practice it has increasingly shifted to removing them on a reason to believe which has resulted in many innocent women being removed due to a combination of guilt by association and racial profiling.

And of you think prostitution is a lesser problem, consider STIs, broken relationshios, etc.

That said, going gung ho and deporting anyone remotely suspected of prostitution might be more harmful to the process of justice than the prostitution itself.

As much as I don't agree with adding more people to Canada, I do approve of the way the Libs are handling who they will be brining in.

They are going to the Camps and selecting the people who have been there for years, and not the latest arrivals. And no single men allowed.....

The Indians and Pakistanis don't seem to have had much of a problem with it.
