Canada, the U.S and France are going to help them.

"It said planes from France, the United States and Canada were involved in the search."

Talk about Deja Vu

All we need is the ANZACS to send help and it will be like the old days.

That pretend Navy that Blackie goes on about will come in real handy about now

Maybe he can draw a picture of an ASW ship and it will be so?

We need to help them in any way we can... which includes artists renditions. :)

The USA and Canada have a moral obligation to defend Britain against these threats... Just like how you have an obligation to take care of a younger, weaker, less experienced brother

God forbid if the Brits tried that failed experiment again... They might as well just name each one of their new vessels HMS Hood

It isn't the first time the Brittish have asked us to help them out militarily and it probably won't be the last.

No question and as usual we are answering the call.

As if the Russian Channel... I mean the English Channel doesn't have enough RN ships littering the bottom.

How unusual. NATO allies helpong each other out, as NATO was intended for.

Whatever next?

As for canada, most of tis contributions to NATO are political due to having only a small military.

Canada always had a small military and yet still did more than most and pulled off things you Brits couldn't do.

Either way it turned out to not be a periscope from a sub but simply the antenna of Britain's mythical crab

No, it hasn't. During WWII it had the third-largest navy in the world. Now, however, the Royal Canadian Navy has a mere 15 surface combatants, 4 submarines, one support ship, 12 coastal mine countermeasures ships and 11 unarmed patrol/training vessels to defend the country with the world's longest coastline.

Nowadays, Canada's military is so tiny than its contribution to NATO is merely political rather than military. Militarily, Canada is impotent.

Britain, on the other hand, has the fourth largest military in NATO in terms of numbers of active military personnel after the US, Turkey and France, and when taking the reserve personnel into consideration on top of that it ranks fifth behind the US, Turkey, Poland and Greece.

pulled off things you Brits couldn't do.

Like what?
