“The president is monitoring the area along the border ... especially the area that is being evacuated for eliminating terrorist hideouts and to prevent any infiltration of terrorists that will threaten national security,” his office said.

The authorities want to establish a 500 metre (yard) wide buffer zone along the 10 kilometre (six mile) long border with Gaza.

Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab issued a decree on Wednesday formally ordering the establishment of the buffer zone.

“If any resident of the area earmarked to be closed off does not move out voluntarily, his property will be confiscated,”

“The Zionist ruling clique of Canada, through their front-man Stephen Harper, is seeking to beef up the already-existing Orwellian ‘hate propaganda’ law, which has been primarily used to curtail criticism of Zionists and Israel,” wrote Martinez.

He said Canada’s criminal code is to ban criticism or promotion of “hatred” against people distinguished by “national origin.”

“This means, say, if you condemn Israelis for their inhumane treatment of Palestinians, you could find yourself in court facing down the self-appointed thought police and commissars of political correctness,” wrote Martinez.

I thought the same thing when I came across the article.
Is that Egyptian thing connected to ant reconstruction thing? Like put a road in so the tunnels are no longer needed or blow the tunnels and nothing happens until the two years it takes to build the road opens of the 6 trucks that cross before it gets closed for another two years? From the photos anything in Gaza has to be flattened

So they blow up these homes to make a "buffer zone" so they can't make tunnels there. So they just make longer tunnels beyond the zone. Then they expand the zone.... And so on until there's no place for people to live.

Makes sense.

At least something is being done these guys hide in the neighborhoods and amongst
the civilian population if the civilians don't ferret the out then they get what they deserve
its time they stop hiding the thugs and terrorists
