That sounds like depression to me, and there's no jollying people out of that, it just annoys them. It's February of a long, cold winter, his part of the world's been battered repeatedly by the foulest weather in a long time, and I think some of it was going on when he posted that. Maybe Nugg's afflicted by S.A.D. But he did say, "for now," and "c'ya, fer sure." I'd bet he'll be back with more of his entertaining Nugglerisms when the sun's higher and warmer in the sky and the interminable NHL playoffs are over, but in the meantime he just needs to withdraw for a while.

Do what you need to do Nugg, but do come back.

ah indeed you're right Dexter... mostly. Nugg has let me know that he is just on 'Hiatus' and will return when he's taken care of a few other things he'd like to pay attention to for awhile...not abandoning us, not depressed, just stretching his wings a tad...
