Mine is pretty slow right now, usually I am closer to 7000kbps... that's cable for you though with saturated nodes.

Your connection has serious problems if you have a 500ms ping Locutus. If you are on DSL, check your phone filters...

ouch, you have a pretty fat connection. you sure you don't mean 200 Kilo Bytes Per Second opposed to 200 Kilo Bits Per Second?

just seemed kinda low, not out of the realm of possiblities though since a lot of ISP's use traffic shaping on their networks to slow down P2P protocols, namely Torrents.

That's somewhat of an average connection speed, most are in the range of 4-5 meg now though.
