Yes, well:

Lions in general will attack and kill buffalo if the opportunity presents itself.

Usually they go for the weak, old, young, etc.

Seeing them evolve to kill only buff is pretty extraordinary. There was (one left) after the buffs got pissed??

I really don't believe all this. Jeremy Irons is interested in self promotion and the doc. makers the same. If the lions can swim to the island, they can swim off. Buff can also swim quite well, and have no need to stay on any island as long as mainland is within their sight or smell.

Makes for exciting fiction though.:read2:, Doncha think?
