Does anyone know how soon,before they are ripe,cherries can be picked?
We have had two cherry trees for thirty years, and this is the most bumper crop of cherries,ever.
However,other years,the birds and squirrels got to them before we did,lol.
It's impossible to cover them with muslin(they're over forty feet high)...the swinging pie plate routine doesn't faze them, the owls in the branches don't faze them. Right now,they are sort of pale yellow,but still sour. Any hints?
