So the moto for the no girls club would be...

"no girls allowed"??

*snickers* I almost want to type something really explicit.

Dam censorship, styfling the minds of young sexists everywhere.

I'd be happy to show all the males the moves I learned in self-defense/street fighting class. My first class a male of large stature (6"5) was showing off and I took him down in two seconds. My five foot 2 frame took his jewels out in no time. Any takers.

RE: Posts started by girl

A kick in the cojones certainly trumps a shoulder flip.

Good on ya Sassie.

That'll learn him.

But, if someone is really assaulting you on the street, you don't usally get a clear shot...practise, practise..lol

Anyone else notice this...what does that say about the rest of us?

No, can't say I have, and I don't know how anyone could know that without doing a tedious analysis of all the posts, and you'd have to know the gender of all the thread starters as well, which isn't always obvious. In fact it's rarely obvious.

Maybe it's just that women seem to talk a lot more than men, so they start more threads, so threads started by females get more attention just because there are more of them.

The women's movement will still have a long way to go as long as grown women continue to refer to themselves as girls.

I fought like a "Girl" at first but after two years of practicing I became a little scrapper. My instructor was a street orphan from Asia, his training methods weren't really self-defense-- he believed you had to completly disable an assaillaint. The training paid off, have you ever been to Sobeys on cheque day, man it's ugly.

This is a very true thing. I would venture to say, with a great deal of regret, that in recent years, general social trends have pushed the women's movement back 30+ years, easily.
