Yesterday Pea and I toured around checking out thrift stores. I LOVE them!!! Got meself a cool jogging outfit and a shelf for the bathroom. The ultimate thrifter is Pea ... she can find the coolest stuff!! Garage saling and thrifting with her is an experience unlike any other. I could sell tickets to the event! Of course you have to hit Starbucks first to keep up with her.

What cool stuff have you found in thrift stores? And who is addicted to them?

My favorite lucky silk jacket came from a thrift store.

As did my 1970's porn couch. This nicely matches my orange giant flowered canisters I also got there. Mow mow ma mow mow ma mow mow. Last summer, I was trying to create a 1970's porno studio in my living room.

I'm not really a fan of wearing silk, but I love getting kids clothes at thrift stores....They grow too damn fast to buy all new

I like the weird stuff you can find. Once we found a wooden boat ornament. It was a sort of tug-boat but it had sails, and it was also a clock and also a light. Who, really, could ask for more. It was the epitomy of kitsch, which I collected at the time. I could kick myself for getting rid of it, which I did one day in a moment of madness, in a tirade against our excess junk.

I can completely understand the shoe thing, I suffer from it myself, not much of an e-bay fan though
