Don't worry about it. Everybody gets pushed to far once in a while, that's why there are moderators and such.

"Goodbye my friend it's hard to die,
When all the birds are singing,
In the sky ... "

Oh no, not Terry Jacks.

Wow, you knew his name. I don't know whether to be impressed, or to laugh and point.

Of course I knew his name. When I was a kid that song was on the radio every hour so. When I bought a cheap K-Tel record that song was on it. It's been drilled into my brain. There's just no escaping some things, I guess

I didn't know his name, slightly too young, but I have retained certain associations from that song - my rational side tells me to laugh at it's cheesiness, but I'm sure I can feel a tear welling up from somewhere deep in my psyche. Mad.

Goodbye to you, my trusted friend
We've known each other since we were nine or ten
Together we climbed hills and trees
Learned of love and ABC's
Skinned our hearts and skinned our knees

You've been doing some research? You going to lay some facts on us tonight or what ?

I've been kind of busy lately, Mom...mostly researching the kinds of things that'd bore the hell out of everybody. I won't get into it other than to say that it pays the bills and is making my coffee supplier a gazillionaire.

I did some research by watching (or at least listening to) TV this afternoon though...Gomery is passe, look to committees investigating government contracts.

I have Le Damnation de Faust in my head...

...which I find quite disappointing, as Symphonie Fantastique is by far a better composition in my opinion...

The only opera I know is that Kill the Wabbit song from Bugs Bunny. I now have it stuck in my head.

Actually I got it out of my head by playing Jimmy Buffet.

So barmaid bring a pitcher,
Another round of brew,
Oh why don't we get drunk and screw...
