- My glasses (can't read the screen with them on).
- Half a jar of Planter's Dry Roasted peanuts, half a bag of "sour" Maynard's Wine-Gums.
- Two phone books; one local, one the town I used to live in and where my parents still are.
- Rand-McNally North American road atlas - when I hear of a town or park I don't know of, I look it up. (I've always been a map-freak.)
- A calendar I havent found a place to put up yet; I already have one over the desk.
- My cigarettes and Zippo (yes, I have several bad habits).
- Half a glass of vodka and grapefruit-pop (ditto).
- A nifty weighted "Post-It" note holder that my wife got me for Christmas 2003.
- A pen.
