Do you think if Quebec actually voted to split from Canada, would Canadains stand for it, or would there be a civil war within Canada??

As far as I'm concern if you want to leave Canada, there's the door, but try and seperate the country, time to bomb the **** out of their industucture, and not the roads; they are already shyte...

Power plants, bridges, anything that could cause economics hardship.

Just say'in

As long as they don't try this sovernty association crap and have their own dollar and passport and don't get any money from Canada... don't let the door hit their butt on the way out.

If the separatists wanted to leave, fine. They can try France and see if that country would take them. Wherever. I couldn't care much less. I don't think they are worth anything other than an escort to the exit let alone bombs.
Just like anyone else that doesn't want to be a Canadian any more.

Well, I now work almost daily in Quebec, and it is a beautiful province..

But you go deep into Quebec and you're hard pressed to find somebody who can speak English. That sorta makes me worry about Canada's future..

I don't believe that we should ever allow Canada to be split up, whatsoever, in any way, shape or form.

It's just the rich French elite that are pushing the sovereignty agenda.

I hope so. That would be a hoot!

Hope not :(

A friend of ours from Limoges France was told by a Quebecois one time that she should learn to speak French properly. Our friend is a linguistics professor over there. She laughed at the Quebecois asshat. We've got a Belgian friend that relayed a similar story.

The French like to laugh at the Kay-beckers speech. One of the kinder ones told me "They don't speak French. They speak Acadian."

I thought that was pretty diplomatic.

My son-in-law services mining equipment and is often called from Sudbury to Noranda-Royen as he's the French guy. He complains they don't speak his family dialect.

I wonder how they would do without the billions of dollars that they get in transfer payments.
How would the Canadian economy do without the billions in tax dollars that Quebecois pay out every year?

The French encounter mostly Montrealers who have a thick patois. Norther Quebecois speak an older version of French than even those from Paris, less anglicized. In Paris and Montreal they say "le hot dog", in northern Quebec they still say "le chien chaud".
