  • He promotes the idea that women as a class are happier or more fulfilled if they have children, or that they “should” have children.
  • He argues that people (or just “men”) have sexual “needs.”
  • He discusses the “types” of women he finds sexually appealing and/or attempts to demean women by telling them he does not find them sexually appealing.
  • He sexually objectifies lesbians or lesbian sexual activity.
  • He defends these actions by saying that some women also engage in them.

What a lot of these describe is chauvinism, not 'support of rape'. And it seems many of them are no-wins.. you can't be an anti-abortion male, you can't be a pro-choice male, ie., if you're a male you're a rape supporter? That's bull.

Not all chauvinists, or men with high sex drives, are 'rape supporters'. The article so far over reaches. It's a pity, since one or two might have been good points, but are overshadowed by those that over reach.

I can only imagine how her feminist head would pop if she were to set foot in a swing club. Eeks.

From the author's own words in the comments section,

"But men as a class are dangerous people..."

End of story. I won't listen to men who think they are better than women, and I won't listen to women who think they're better than men.

What kind of tone would she set for the evening? 8O

In reading more of her feminist rantings (and she does classify herself as a radical feminist, tailoring her writings to other radical feminists), anything that supports the objectification of women, the sexualization of women, is supportive of the social dynamic that perpetuates rape. Thus, yeah, pretty much if you own a penis and don't hang your head in shame for that fact, you're supporting rape.

I haven't read any of her stuff as of yet,,, I might be interested if she's got some nudie pics of radical feminist chicks on her site. That might be a good marketing schtick to gain attention to her work.

Just sayin'

It would be an interesting mix of messages to send.

One might consider it a bait-and-switch tactic. You employ sexuality as the 'grab' and once in the door, ya inundate them with an alternate message and possibly change minds. Regardless, when I read through the "list" offered, it became clear that it didn't matter what you opinion, ideology or past actions were - essentially anyone with the XY chromosome set supports rape.

No... she points out in further writings that she does know some men who are ashamed to be men. Those men are cool in her books.

Her blog has been a lonely place. She's likely looking for attention and increased web traffic. The easiest way is to say something controversial and let it go viral.

And those men would be gay?

I'm betting she doesn't get many dates except for possibly women that don't shave their legs and arm pits.

If every men are rape supporter's. I guess it only proves the natural process of evolution has made us that way. Then I guess rape is not such a bad thing like we make it out to be in our society, if the hole male race of every species on planet earth naturaly participate and supports rape, then maybe consent is just us pretending to be above our natural standard. And men have to live in a constent stat of controlling there natural instinct. Women should appreciate that, no?
