In regard to recent events in Ukraine, the idiotic TV talking heads and corrupt DC politicians are warning us not to "appease" Putin like Neville Chamberlain "appeased" Hitler. It is time that we once again set the record straight on poor Neville Chamberlain.

He and others allowed Hitler to take Austria, theRhineland and slice Czechoslovakia in half thinking HItler would satisfied. If thats not appeasement Idont know what is. Had they stood up to him in 1936-38 they potentially could have avoided WW2 - or just have a very brief war as at that time Germany was nowhere near ready for a war.

When shyte hit the fan, Poland went up against tanks with cavalry. Britain was just still using biplane technology to fight Messerschmidts. Armies had long since stood down and swords had been melted to plow following a "war to end all wars". People were safe in their peace. In my opinion, the "appeasement" never bought enough time.
