I love those! I think that's how British and Canadian gov'ts actually work (or don't work). I haven't seen anything suggesting that level of bureaucracy isn't real either. lol

This was in fact one the best series ever produced all the way back to the original
shows of Yes Minister, that is before Hacker became the Prime Minister.
Good memories.

I did discuss this series briefly in the thread ‘what is your most favorite comedy show’ which I posted a while ago.

In that, I listed ‘Yes, Minister’ (and ‘Yes, Prime Minister’) and my second most favorite comedy show, next only to ‘Fawlty Towers’. I have the DVDs of all the ‘Yes Minister/Prime Minister’ shows (there were not all that many).
