The moose soup should have had parsnips which I didn't have at the time. Not to many though. Parsnips split in two and fried in butter are delicious.

What I remember is the dark, tasty juices from the moosemeat and bones. I think we remember what we thought were the "good things" from our youth. I really don't know if there was a better way to cook the moosemeat but I do remember my mom's cooking. More than anything else, we think fondly of what we grew up with.

Imprinting, programing, learning accumulation experiance to what end I wonder. Two dishes from my initial stage stand out for me, sweet and sour spare ribs and cream peas on toast and tapioca. Ok three dishes. Any decent heaven will most likely have these things on the menu. I should be quite comfortable.

Assuming I get there as well, that menu should include braised short ribs and lemon meringue pie.

If the creamed peas on toast were made with canned peas like my mom made them, I would include them as well.

The little sweet ones (peas) the sauce was thick, made with butter. Braised short ribs and lemon meringue pie, I'll have to arrange a cloud close to yours.
