Hello friends,
I am a farmer from the Punjab, Pakistan. I believe that the God is the God of universe, the God of mankind; not of religions, communities or groups and that unlike religions faith in the God is neither a heritage nor an inheritance.
I want to illustrate and explain my faith and your participation, questioning, commenting and criticising (harshly or mildly) would help me in my cause. I hope you would be co- operating.
I do not believe in any religious god/gods and would not preach you any religion. I have to say that there is a God and nothing else in addition. I think that I am a strong believer but do not claim any special attachments with the God.
I am your friend also,
May not be of your skin,
May not be of your nation,
May not be of your language,
May not be of your standard,
Yet I can live as you live,
Yet I can sing as you sing,
Can love your art and ways of life,
The land you live in or any sight,
I can join you in sad and glad,
Can share your hopes and wear as you clad,
Can join you in prayers where you pray,
Though I shall say silently what I have to say,
The God I pray is your God also,
May be more yours than mine also,
The God of universe and mankind also,
I am your friend also.
I can join you to defend the just,
If you are to help weak or oppressed,
But if I happen to meet the others,
If they claim to behave as human brothers,
I may be very easily inspired also,
No restraint shall then I abide by also,
I shall embrace and say to them also,
I am your friend also.

Welcome to the group. A nice fantasy, but in reality this type of thinking is best for those who will not take a stand and commit to anything, in this case god. It is making God in your image. If there is indeed a God, than what is important is not what WE think, but what HE wants.

What a beautiful post. I myself believe in faith nor religion. Im Pagan and my Goddess and God are extentions of Sorse. Its a really peaceful way to live when your in the moment.

I am an educated farmer but not a learned scholar or a philosopher. I never discussed my faith with any one but only on net and I have never been abroad.
Friends, I think that I would be successful to explain you people that my faith is not a fantacy but amuch deeper reality than any religion.

Of turban’s or the cap’s God,
Of west’s or the east’s God,
Of religion’s or the priest’s God,
Which God or whose God,
Not believe or choose God,
Temple’s God or minaret’s God,
Of not free but hostage’s God,
Not certain but uncertain God,
Of insane not of sane God,
If God is not only the God,
Not this God or that God.
