By accountable I mean as He Himself considers it.

Andy

A god that says on one hand that slavery and murder are acceptable then turns around and says we should all forgive one another...

Some god you've got there!

And by the way exactly how do you know what god thinks of accountability...

I don't. The only way we would know is when He decides to reveal it Himself and I'm assuming that has already occured and someone has the answer.

Don't hide your light under a bushel there my friend...

Tell us all who knows the mind of this god you've created...

If God had to have accountability - to whom would it be?

Mrs. God? (sorry - couldn't resist).

God may be as consistent as we perceive Him to be - and as inconsistent if that is what we are.

What? Is god consistant in anything and accountable? God is accountable for consistant mystery, consistant misery and the consistant number of dullards in every generation consistantly believing the original joke of religion.

If there were a Mrs. God we'd all have heard from her by now!

If there was any chance that a supreme being (without a penis) actually created existence..I'd sign up.

Anythings got to be better than Mr. God...

I can't speak for God on this issue, but I'm sure accountable to my wife....

I think we should be looking for the balance in our respective lives, we talk about change in the World, how do we cope?? By being balanced, based on the blessings and skills God has given each of us..

Is God accountable?? If you have love in your heart, does it matter at this point??

The World is in motion... we are in motion...You can't drive forward looking the rear view mirror.

If God were accountable, surely He could only be accountable to Himself.

we'd like Him to be accountable to us, but that wouldnt work.

Don't feel bad, hysterical laughter for no reason you can decern is an act of god manifesting itself through the aflicted subject, it's akin to talking in voices and drooling .

I'm sorry Hermann.... I didn't mean anything cruel....

I just love it when the guys all sort themselves out into a collection of all saying the same thing ... kinda like watching a hockey game...

Hasn't your wife ever said "Men".... in that sort of "voice" we all recognize???? It is often accompanied by swatting the kitchen towel or throwing a sponge into the sink....

Hermann

I don't know how to repair this.....

When I made the joke I was saying it with good cheer and love about the bleacher crowd... a bunch of guys getting together to whoop on whatever they wanted to in comraderie....

These days it happens not that often, unless they happen to have some "beer courage" ... because I think men are relegated to the back door far too often in our society.

It gave me a smile - and I was laughing at the remarks all you guys made. I disagree all men are bastards tho. The men I happen to have for friends, I wouldn't trade for the world. They are my backbone.

Diva? Making an issue out of zip, nada and nothing.
It's something I know well....I come from a long line of a divas who have honed their craft well!

Sorry again...
